Over One Million Tourists Visit Cuba

Havana, Jun 7 (Latin Press) Over 1.1 million tourists visited Cuba until May 19, Tourism Minister Manuel Marrero told the presidents of the 169 municipal organizations of the People's Power. Marrero said at a meeting to close Sunday in Havana that the one million 103,885 tourists stand for 14.6 percent growth compared to 2007. The official also mentioned factors affecting tourism, plus immediate and future activities requiring support from the People's Power municipal organizations.
