Santa Lucia Beach announces International Festival 2012

Camaguey, Cuba, January 24 - The Cuban holiday destination of Santa Lucia beach, located in this province, announces the celebration of the nineteenth edition of the Santa Lucia Beach International Festival, co - sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and the Cubanacan Group, which will take place from February 13 . 17. Characterized by a unique "Sabor a Cuba" (Cuba Flavor) that holiday destination, as every year, promises to be the scene of a great party full of cultural, recreational, nautical, and gastronomic events while promoting friendship among the participants and highlighting the beauty and qualities of the main attractions of the tourist pole: the beach, the sun and its inhabitants. The various activities to take place will have a competitive nature between hotels, so each one will try to win the most awards to be the champion of the encounter. A Jury of high-level specialists will grant the prizes in each competition category, which are as follows: Grand Prize: to the most beautiful and intelligent mermaid; the best show; the best animation team; the best dinner and the most integral hotel, among others. The awards consist in trophies inspired by the Festival's logo and diploma. A Grand Prize will be given to the winner Mermaid and to the first, second, third and fourth places in each competitive category. The Grand Prix comprises also a free week stay for two people at the hotel where the winner Mermaid is staying and will be effective from April first to November 30, 2012. All Cubanacan Group hotels in Santa Lucia will host the festival; it is to say, Club Amigo Mayanabo, Club Amigo Caracol, Gran Club Santa Lucia, and Brisas Santa Lucia.
